Partagria participated as part of Senegal’s trade delegation at the Flandres International Trade Fair at Ghent, Belgium this September. Senegal has been selected this year as the “Guest of Honor” and allotted over 1000 sq. m out of the 30,000 sq. m total exhibition space at the fair, attended by more than 82,000 visitors.
Senegal’s export promotion agency, ASEPEX, has selected Partagria among many applicants to be among 15 businesses representing the country, with just four from the agribusiness sector. Partagria’s representatives hosted a booth at the conference, displaying sample export products that we offer to export customers, and participate in the “Journees Economiques du Senegal” – key presentations and discussion forums about investments, business cooperation and trade relations between the European Union and Senegal.
The trade fair took place from September 10, 2016 to September 18, 2016 with Senegal Trade Days taking place on September 15-17.
Senegal’s pavilion at the fair:
Established in 1946, Flanders International Trade Expo is a general trade fair for the consumer public with important side events for professionals under the Patronage of H.M. the King of Belgium. Alongside the representative from the Royal Palace, many ministers, ambassadors, city and province dignitaries, and business leaders will be at the fair’s opening ceremony. The guest of honor, Senegal, will be given special coverage. The ceremony will be followed by a an official visit to the pavilion at the exhibition.
